Room in owner's house 30 m² Vrijwilligerslaan in Brussels

This spacious student room (20 m²) comes with a private bathroom (5 m²) and kitchen (5 m²) on the 2nd floor of a family home. The total living area is therefore 30 m². The photos of the room were taken in the winter; there is much more light in reality, like you can see in the video: .

🏡 Location: particularly convenient in a pleasant and safe neighborhood, close to the VUB (3-4 min walk) & ULB (10-15 min walk) and just a 1 min walk from the Pétillon metro station (exactly 10 min from Central Station). There are various restaurants, bars, and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity, as well as a swimming pool and gyms and fitness centers. 🛏️ Furniture: The furniture (bed, desk, wardrobe, etc. ) will be provided, and the room will look approximately the same as how it is currently used by the student (albeit without personal belongings). She has written a very positive "review" (see photo).

👨‍👩‍👧 About us: We are a family of three: 1 adult, a 14-year-old son, and a 7-year-old daughter. We are looking for a likeable and friendly student who speaks Dutch or French and with whom we can have a good relationship. The children are independent, respect the student's privacy, and stay in this house for only 1 week out of every 2.

⚠️ House rules: smoking is prohibited; parties are practically not possible. We will draw up house rules and a general état des lieu together and follow the Brik contract. The student is asked to keep the kitchen and bathroom clean at all times, while a cleaner also visits once in a while.

💶 Price & contract: 800 EUR + 175 costs (internet, water, electricity, gas, and cleaning included). There is also the option to park a bicycle in the communal garage. Ideally, we will conclude a contract until the end of summer 2027. Deposit: 2 months.
